Colonel Isaac Sykes

He is General Harper's most trusted appointee, but is frustrated by the inferiority of his position in the shadow of such a decorated commander. Sykes feels that his contribution deserves more responsibility, his thoughts betraying feelings of jealousy and contempt toward Harper's success.

The one quality which saves Colonel Sykes from the depths of the reader's hatred is his dedication to loyalty. Despite his treacherous tactics and grave disliking for Rosemont, Sykes is willing to sacrifice everything for his commitment to the project.
