Captain Mark Rosemont

A young military genius who has developed the most dangerous military technology known to man, is forced beyond his element to answer a riddle which could represent an unthinkable breach in national security.

Like Kuhn, Rosemont is a natural leader and a man of integrity, but he too is plagued by the guilt of his passion. After Flash Technology is used to commit mass genocide, he inherently questions the benevolence of his own achievements feeling most directly responsible for the slaughter of the Atacameno tribe.

Ultimately, Rosemont's brilliance is the key to unlocking a criminal plot so elaborate that it would appear to be foolproof. Yet, outside of the laboratory, he remains vulnerable to naivety and inexperience, particularly with certain preconceived notions he carries about individuals who have wronged him the past.

Rosemont is an interesting hero to watch as his intellect is manipulated time and again throughout the story. Though he triumphs in the end, the process is an arduous journey with many hurdles to overcome.

Suspenseful combination of military fiction,
new technology, and reality-based horror.
